UnderDeck is a new product developed in the USA in the late 90’s to solve the age old problem of what to do with that wet, dark, sometimes ugly space under your deck.

UnderDeck (www.underdeck.com) solved the problem by delivering a unique innovative functional yet aesthethetically pleasing solution.

There is no standard way to cover under your deck, just many individual ideas, and most are very hard to dismantle to clean or get something out that has dropped through from above, till now.

The UnderDeck solution allows the water to penetrate the deck and is intercepted by a series of collector’s panels and joist gutters. The water contacts the arched collector panels and is delivered to the outer edge where it flows into the joist gutters. The joist gutters are pitched away from the house. At this point the water makes its way down the joist gutter and exists by spouting.

The homeowner has taken the unused or under utilized space beneath their second-level deck and turned it into a clean, dry, bright area that can be used for outdoor parties, storage – not mention the fact that the patio furniture will not be getting wet and dirty anytime soon.

This product was developed with the homeowner and contractor in mind.  It is easy enough to be installed by a homeowner and tough enough to be appreciated by contractors all over the nation.
